Truly an electric night of theatre and a must-see for any fan of the show. This is a great capture with no washout, very little obstruction, and only a couple short dropouts. Note: A beautiful production at Deaf West Theatre in Los Angeles with a phenomenally talented cast of both hearing and deaf actors, including some from the casts of Glee and Switched at Birth. The entire show is signed by the actors, and most of the show is also spoken/sung except for a short bit during latin class and the scene between Moritz and his father just before And Then There Were None. The staging, choreography, singing, and signing are all absolutely gorgeous, and this production gives a deeper meaning to the show’s message about parents communicating with their children; this is a must see for any fan of the show.

It’s a parade of missteps and injustices, some perpetrated by Keaton and some upon him. The first minute or two are shaky with some blackouts, but the rest of the show is beautiful filmed with no issues.

A perfect capture of this Sondheim classic at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley. A really nicely staged production with great sets and costumes and fantastic talent. David and Tory and wonderful, and the supporting cast is solid as well. This has no blackouts and no washout; there is some slight obstruction when the actors come into the audience, but no obstruction when they are on stage. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Tallest Tree in the Forest, The - May 4, 2014 mat
Daniel Beaty. A near perfect capture of this fascinating one-man show at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. The show tells the life story of Paul Robeson: born the son of a slave, he put himself through law school and then rose to fame as an actor, singer, and civil rights activist. Daniel Beaty gives an engrossing performance, portraying not only Robeson, but also every other character in his life including his father, brother, wife, teachers, reporters, and many more, giving each character it’s own unique voice, personality, and mannerisms.
A great capture overall with just a one minute blackout in each act. There is no washout, no obstruction, and the video is very steady. It’s filmed in 16:9 in mostly mediums and close-ups with the occasional wide shot to show the projections on the back wall. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.
This is our Youth – January 11, 2015 - Regional Theater
Jesse Massaro, John Connor, Erin Mellon. A very interesting show that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The cast did a very good job of putting on this show. I was very impressed. The Video is pretty good, a bit jumpy the first 5 or so minutes gettig adjusted and late comers. However besides that it is fine. Also there is a bar that obstructs the end of the set but it usually filmed around.

Very nice capture of this new musical based on RKO 1935 cinematographic version starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Very well filmed!

A fantastic capture of this brand new show by the writers of Book of Mormon, Avenue Q, and Frozen. The show is very clever and funny, and the music is great, but it’s a bit clunky in places so there are sure to be changes before it does another run. This is very nicely captured with no major blackouts and just a couple quick dropouts and no obstruction. There is a bit of washout in some high contrast scenes. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans. A

Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike - March 1, 2014 – LA
Mark Blum (Vanya), Kristine Nielsen (Sonia), Christine Ebersole (Masha), David Hull (Spike), Shalita Grant (Cassandra), Liesel Allen Yeager (Nina) Near perfect capture of the L.A. production of this great play, one quick drop out in Act I but the video is perfect other than this with no washout or obstruction, there's a high pitched squeal from an audience member's hearing device that can be heard a couple of times but it's short lived and the dialogue can be heard clearly over it.
Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike – June 7, 2014 The Old Globe
Vanya: Martin Moran, Sonia: Marcia DeBonis, Masha: Candy Buckley, Spike: Tyler Lansing Weaks, Cassandra: Hanefah Wood, Nina: Allison Layman A very nice capture of The Old Globe’s production. The cast is fantastic, and they play off each other very well. It’s great to see new faces in each role, and a fresh take on each character. I particularly loved Marcia’s Sonia. The show has no washout, no obstruction, and very steady filming. There is a two minute blackout before/during Nina’s entrance, but the show is otherwise fully captured. As usual, it’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups, and the sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

There are some small heads at the bottom of the screen that occasionally block the actors’ feet, but they do not affect the action. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call, Bill Condon’s farewell speech, encore of Say Goodbye to the Side Show, and playbill scans.
